From Opening Day to the Opening Game against Manny
LHP Felix Doubront was the opening day starter for the Sea Dogs in Reading. Tonight, the 22-yea old lefty will make his Major League debut against Manny and the Los Angeles Dodgers at Fenway Park. I’m very happy for Doubront, he’s only 22, but has been pitching in the Red Sox minor league system since 2005 when he went 7-1, 0.97 ERA in 13 games for the VSL Red Sox.
Sorry Celtics’ fan (which I am), but I can’t say Boston blew game 7, despite having the lead. If it was the other way around we would have said how great of a comeback the Celtics had. The Lakers were the better team and outplayed Boston – they deserved to win.
Now the baseball season has officially started. I can’t believe the turnaround by Boston, plus, the season Ortiz is having.
