ALMOST BREAK TIME: The Sea Dogs hit the road for the final time before the Eastern League All-Star break…The trip consists of six games beginning with three against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and finishing with three against the Trenton Thunder…Bryce Brentz, Chris Hernandez, and Reynaldo Rodriguez will all make the trip to Reading to participate in the All-Star Game.
MLB REHAB UPDATE: OF Carl Crawford made his first rehab start with the Portland Sea Dogs last night and remains with the team to start the roadtrip…OF Jacoby Ellsbury is expected to continue his Major League rehab stint with the Sea Dogs in tonight’s series opener (Bios on Page 5).
