Gibson makes his Double-A debut

The Sea Dogs continue their six-game homestand on Wednesday night against the Altoona Curve (Pirates affiliate) from Hadlock Field…Portland beat the Curve 13-2 last night.  Lefty Drake Briton seeks his fourth win of the season.  Altoona coutners with former Sea Dog Kris Johnson, who pitched with Portland in 2008-09.

Derrik Gibson makes his Double-A debut at third base tonight.  His first start at third since 2008.

Portland has won a season-high five straight at Hadlock Field, their longest home winning streak since the end of the 2010 season.  Let’s make it six in a row, and we’ll dig to find the last six-game home winning streak.
