Report from the Fort – Day 1
Good morning from Ft. Myers, Florida! Due to the snow across the midwest yesterday, it took me a little longer to get here, but I’m here and that’s all that matters.
All this week I’ll have updates from Spring Training, mainly focusing on the Sea Dogs. For those new to Spring Training, all of the minor league teams play exhibition games. Today I’m heading to Sarasota to watch Portland play Bowie at their complex.
This is my 8th Spring Training and I can’t express in words how grateful I am to the Sea Dogs Organization for sending me down here. Back in 2006 when I was told about adding this trip to my yearly agenda, I was in shock. I didn’t believe I would get this opportunity. The one thing I love about this trip is to catch up with so many friends I’ve made in the organization
I’ll have updates all week on the blog…Feel free to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or follow on Twitter @seadogsradio.
