FINAL AT-BAT WIN: The Fisher Cats scored twice in the eighth inning to take the series opener 5-4 from the Sea Dogs on Thursday…Miguel Celestino (1-6) took the loss, allowing the tying run on a wild pitch…Kevin Nolan delivered the game-winning RBI with a sac-fly to right field…Portland erased a 3-0 deficit, receiving a two-run homer by Travis Shaw in the fourth and a bases-loaded walk to Tony ThomasJ.C. Linares hit into a force out with the bases loaded to end the game, and giving Alan Farina his second save of the year…Tyson Brummett earned his first win of the season.

IT WAS STILL QUALITY: LKHP Drake Britton earned his fourth quality start of the season, hurling six innings on Thursday night…Britton allowed six hits, three runs, three walks and fanned four…New Hampshire scored twice in the second inning on Nolan’s RBI single and a two-out run-scoring double by Kevin AhrensBrad Glenn hit a solo homer in the fourth.

NICE DEBUT: 3B Garin Cecchini picked up his third straight multi-hit game by going 2-for-5 last night…Cecchini has reached base safely in all five Double-A starts…The Louisiana native is leading all Red Sox Minor Leaguers with a .349 (82-for-235) in 68 games between High-A Salem and Portland.

HEY, I’M AN ALL-STAR: The Sea Dogs will send INF Michael Almanzar, Britton, RHP Anthony Ranaudo and C Christian Vazquez to this year’s Eastern League All-Star Game on July 13th in New Britain, Connecticut…Almanzar and Ranaudo were selected through fan voting.

THAT’S NOT ALL: Ranaudo and former Sea Dog Xander Bogaerts were selected to the Sirius/XM Future’s Game on Sunday, July 14th at Citi Field in New York…For the first time in the 15-year history of the game, fans can vote for the final spot for each squad…To vote for Cecchini text U2 at 892969 or #VoteCecchini on Twitter.
