RUNS AT A PREMIUM: 1B Travis Shaw knocked in Portland’s lone run with a solo-homer in the seventh inning with two outs, as the Harrisburg Senators took the series opener 2-1 on Thursday night…Destin Hood knocked in the game’s first run, driving a run-scoring triple to right field off losing pitcher Matt Barnes (5-7)…Harrisburg took a 2-0 lead on a pick-off attempt, throwing error by catcher Christian Vazquez…RHP A.J. Cole tossed seven strong innings in his Double-A debut to notch the win for the Senators…RHP Tyler Herron earned the save with two scoreless innings, inducing two 6-3 double plays.
