Red Sox roster has ties to Portland

The Red Sox host the Rays in Game 1 of the 2013 ALDS this afternoon at Fenway Park beginning at 3:07 p.m…With a tough season last year, it’s amazing what the Sox have accomplished.  Below is the 25-man roster that was announced earlier today by the Red Sox.  In addition, First-base coach Arnie Beyeler managed in Portland.  Assistant Trainers Brad Pearson and Masai Takahashi were Head Trainers with the Sea Dogs.
