The Sea Dogs conclude their three-game series and seven-game homestand on Wednesday night against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate)…Portland is 4-2 on the homestand, and has lefty Henry Owens (9-3, 1.99) on the hill, seeking his sixth straight win. Owens is leading the Eastern League in most of the pitching categories, including complete-games (3) and shutouts (2).

RACKING UP THE K’S: LHP Daniel Norris earned his first Double-A win, fanning 10 batters over 5.2 IP, and leading the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to a 5-1 win on Tuesday night…Norris, who was named to the MLB Future’s Game before Tuesday’s game, yielded three hits and one walk…Portland fanned a season-high 15 times, scoring their lone run in the sixth inning on a bases-loaded HBP from David Chester…RHP Mike McCarthy (6-3) took the loss, giving up four runs on six hits over 4 IP…DH Matt Newman drove in two runs with a homer and ground out for the ‘Cats.
