The Sea Dogs wrap up their 8-game roadtrip on Thursday night at Arm & Hammer Park…New Jersey native RHP Mike Augliera (3-6, 5.00) makes his 16th start of the season for Portland…Augliera is from Old Bridge, New Jersey, just 30 miles north of Arm & Hammer Park.

Last night was really cool at Fenway Park to see Mookie Betts makes his Fenway debut…Despite not getting a hit, there was a hard hit ball off Jake Arrieta, and just seeing him up there is special…It was also nice seeing Anthony Rizzo (former Sea Dog) in town with the Cubs.
Red Sox make moves…Couldn’t be any happier for Rich Hill on getting a chance to pitch out of the Angels bullpen…He was traded earlier today…Also, Michael Almanzar was returned to Boston. Chris Resop was released from Pawtucket’s roster.

CALLING IT A WRAP: The Sea Dogs close out their 8-game roadtrip on Thursday night against the Trenton Thunder (Yankees affiliate) at Arm & Hammer Park…Portland is a combined 15-4 on their last two roadtrips and holds a league-best 30-15 on the road…With last night’s win, Portland is 28 games over .500 for the first time since 1995…The ‘Dogs return home tomorrow to start a three-game series against the New Britain Rock Cats – the fireworks show has been rescheduled to July 5.
CC FALLS TO SEA DOGS: Portland scored five times off CC Sabathia and beat the Thunder 8-6 on Wednesday night (game featured a 1 hour and 41 minute rain delay)…Sabathia took the loss, making his first MLB Rehab start with Trenton…RHP Wilfredo Boscan (1-2) earned his first win with Portland, retiring the final 10 batters faced…The Thunder scored five times off RHP Michael Olmsted in the fifth inning on one hit and walks…Boscan allowed a single to the first batter faced, but induced a double play to end the fifth…RHP Noe Ramirez got a 6-4-3 double play to end the game, and picked up his 9th save of the season.

THERE WAS A REASON: Due to last night’s rain delay, LHP Brian Johnson lasted three innings on five hits and one run…The lefty has allowed two earned runs or less in all 11 starts in Double-A…On Tuesday night, LHP Henry Owens became the first 11-game winner in minor league baseball.
NO CHANCE NOE: Ramirezmade it 9-for-9 in save chances and 14-for-20 in hid Double-A career…The righty has been scoreless in 18 of 24 outings and is 1-0-8 with a 0.61 ERA (2 ER/29.1 IP) in his last 16 appearances…Ramirez has given up 8 earned runs on the season – 3 came on April 10th against the New Britain Rock Cats at Hadlock Field.
