Luck of the Irish…Opening Day is soon

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! And a Happy Birthday to Celtics Executive Danny Ainge. The luck of the irish to have his birthday today.  In addition to his great career with the Celtics, Ainge started his career playing professional baseball, landing in the Majors with Toronto.

I’m assuming Monday’s work production will slow down a bit with people franticly filling out their brackets. I love March Madness because it signals the start of baseball season.

  • This Sunday I leave for Ft. Myers and will be covering the Sea Dogs and the Red Sox Organization for a few days.
  • Former Sea Dogs reassigned today: RHP Allen Webster, C Christian Vazquez optioned to AAA Pawtucket. SS Deven Marrero reassigned to minor league camp.
  • In case you missed it, my broadcast partner is Dan Acheson. He was with me in 2012 – great to have him back.
