The Sea Dogs have found the winning formula this season against the Rock Cats, taking 8 of 12 from the Twins’ affiliate this season…Portland scored a pair of 4-3 victories on Saturday and tied a season-high with 14 hits, beating the Rock Cats 8-5 on Sunday afternoon…After today’s game, the ‘Dogs travel to Harrisburg, PA to battle the Senators in a three-game set.

MEMORIAL DAY PRESS RELEASE
The Portland Sea Dogs have partnered with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to host Military Appreciation Day at Hadlock Field on Memorial Day; Monday, May 30th when the Sea Dogs take on the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) at 1:00 PM. Members of the military and veterans along with their immediate family members are eligible for free tickets to the game thanks to Operation Homefront and the VA Maine Healthcare System.
Military personnel and veterans may reserve their complimentary tickets to the game by logging on to Joint Service Support (JSS) at www.jointservicesupport.org. Once logged in, search for the Memorial Day Baseball Game, complete the form and tickets can be picked-up at the ballpark on game day at the Veterans booth. Please contact the Military Family Assistance Center at 1-888-365-9287 with any questions or problems. Limited tickets are available and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.
The Sea Dogs will host an autograph session for military personnel in the outfield prior to the game from 12:00 to 12:20 PM.
In honor of Military Appreciation Day, the team will wear camouflage caps for the game. The caps will be raffled off with the proceeds going to the Maine National Guard Foundation Fund.
Army Captain Lisa Snow will perform God Bless America during the seventh inning stretch. The Sea Dogs also have a variety of patriotic music that will be played throughout the game.

Friday night’s game at Hadlock Field was suspended due to fog…Portland is trailing 1-0 when play resumes on Saturday afternoon at 1 PM.
The Sea Dogs and Rock Cats resume last night’s suspended game at 1 PM this afternoon…Portland is trailing 1-0 on Deibinson Romero’s RBI ground out.
Fog History: Last April 27th Portland beat the Binghamton Mets 9-4 in 7 innings after the game was stopped due to fog, but lost to the Trenton Thunder 4-2 after 6 ½ innings on May 27th…Ironically, both fog outs last season occurred with the Boston Bruins playing game sevens of their playoff series…The ‘Dogs won a fogged out game in 1994 – all four fog-outs have occurred at Hadlock Field.
